So Strange

This Friday is the May CCI graduation! I should be there! The thing that's strange is that this graduation is the last graduation until Dembre turns-in! It's really strange! I knew it was coming, but it's another milestone that makes me feel dizzy. I also thinks it's weird because it's almost half way through May and when June comes around I'm supposed to contact CCI to let them know that I want to get a new pup! It almost gives me the shivers! I'm so proud of Dembre, but am I ready to say goodbye and is he well enough trained. Though, he still needs work, I think that we're doing well. He knows all the commands, but needs a lot more work on a couple. He still needs quite a bit of manner work, but I was proud yesterday because I walked him downtown in a small city near where we live and even though we had to cross the busy street four or five times and had semi trucks and lots of other cars making noise he stayed calm and didn't even act nervous once! We're getting there.

Welcome Home!!!

I'm back from a wonderful trip to VA! Dembre is only weeks away from being able to go out in public. The puppysitter loved him! And he's housebroken as far as I know. Now at approx. 40 lbs. Dembre looks like a mini adult. Dembre has now perfected sit, down, shake, hurry, let's go, and kennel. He waits patiently for his food. I have a lot of training to catch up on, but I'm excited to have him back!!! (pictures to come)
