Puppy Raising (2nd time around)

I am AMAZED that I have the privilege of raising Hobart II, puppy #2!!!  I've enjoyed it a lot, but it's a whole lot different than raising number one! I've had to try to stay fully inspired (one of the reasons being that I haven't gotten the chance to go to as many puppy classes.) I still have wonderful friends and I'm really trying hard to do well. Hobart has been fairly easy and has learned everything he needs to learn! I have been super busy so training sessions are short, but daily. I've found myself getting distracted and letting the puppy wander off! But then I remember how much I really love doing what I'm doing and it gives me more hope!

Puppy raising in worth the time! Hobart is fairly easy to work with so it's up to me to make sure he turns out right! I'm trying to adjust to his learning style and learning speed, but it's still a work in progress! I do feel more confident that I know what I'm doing, though!

  3. Hi Elijah, I am just puppy sitting Vance. It is an extended puppy sit though - I'll have him till he turns in. His puppy raiser had a family emergency and so needed some time to get things in order and since she lives in AZ and I'm also much closer to KSDS, she decided that I should just have him his last two months of being a puppy in training. I do plan on getting a new puppy as soon as one is available. But, since they have a lot of puppies in the program, they skipped a few breedings, so one probably won't be available until March for me to raise.
