2 DAYS UNTIL DEMBRE GRADUATES (my thoughts and emotions)

I CANNOT believe that graduation is just around the corner. Somehow I thought it would come slowly and the wait would take every breath of patience that I had, but instead it creeps up upon me and reminds me that my long though out dreams are going to become a reality. I don't know what to feel. Somewhere deep inside I feel pure joy and somewhere I feel overflowing pride that says, "You did it." Then again it's not about me. It's about the fact the I can serve another person by giving my full fledged dedication to making the puppy that I raised go on to become a miracle.

I'm waiting in awe of the next few days. I have no clue how on earth it's going to feel when I actually hand over the leash, but somehow I believe it's going to be amazing!

    1. Thanks Ashley! I'm super excited and amazed that he's even gotten this far. I can say tomorrow that I've completed the full puppy raising journey once. I hope Hobart will also graduate, but maybe his path will be different.

  2. I'm sitting here after giving blood with tears in my eyes. You so beautifully wrote how I'm feeling right now. Our second puppy is graduating tomorrow and I couldn't be happier. Thinking back, the few times in my life when I have been this choked up were right before I walked down the aisle to marry my wonderful husband and right after the birth of my kids. I can't imagine how Saturday is going to feel when we hand over Yuri's leash. Thanks for writing this and congrats to you. S. Kiddoo
